I find myself really missing the days when men were men, women were women, rabbits were... rabbits, and Glassfish started all of its services when it needed to so that it could connect jms/foo references to valid queues and connection factories when I expected them to.
On startup, I'm getting an error: [I112]: MQ auto-reconnect feature is disabled.
Then I get a correction: [I111]: MQ auto-reconnect feature is enabled.
Then I get the message that it's disabled again.
The long and the short is that my JMS references in JNDI - which show up in Glassfish' admin console and everything- never actually show up in JNDI.
I get the same behavior in the SJSAS 9.1 server, too - very odd. I know it's probably something horribly simple I'm just missing, but for the life of me I can't see what it is.
Hope the comment to

fix your concerns in this as well. If not, it would be great if you could
please send me a mail to users@glassfish.dev.java.net.
